Storhaus are a private technology business based in Dublin, Ireland, managed by a highly experienced team consisting of Logistics and Technology professionals.

Storhaus are providing a new service to clients seeking warehouse and storage capacity, and to suppliers who wish to monetize excess space that they have at their existing facilities. Storhaus are providing a platform to bring these parties together, quickly and easily.

Storhaus allows suppliers with excess storage space / pallet capacity etc. to list their space on the Storhaus platform, and allows clients who require additional short-term or long-term space to find it easily using the Storhaus platform.

Yes - you can register to be a customer looking for space, and a supplier with excess space - at any one time. It's possible that a business may require space in one location and have excess space at another location for a variety of reasons e.g. Seasonal factors, geography, different product types or different storage requirements etc. It may depend on different requirements at different times.

As a customer:

• As a "Customer" you have the opportunity to get extra space without a long-term commitment to a new warehouse lease or a 3pL/warehouse provider contract.
• You have the opportunity to meet seasonal or business growth requirements without investment in additional resources and facilities.
• You can source additional space near to your business or to your own clients business, which can help to shorten delivery lead times.
• You have easy access to flexible space when you need it
• You wont have to sign a new lease or long-term storage contracts

As a warehouse supplier:

• You can earn money from excess or wasted space in your warehouse - by week, month or year.
• You choose which business you want, when you want it, and for how long.
• You set the price for the space.
• You have the opportunity to earn additional revenue from value-added activity

So whatever your needs, whether it's short term seasonal overflow, or long-term arrangements with flexibility - we can manage it for you. Generally, there is no minimum volume or quantity, though warehouses may set a minimum quantity that they are interested to receive. It’s up to both sides to agree what they want. There is no need for IT integration unless both parties (supplier and customer) agree to it.

That depends on the individual warehouse suppliers. Our warehouse partners generally offer the following basic services:

• Ambient pallet storage - racked facility
• Ambient pallet / bulk storage - floor space
• Pallet handling - in/out
• Goods handling - in/out
• Container / Trailer - discharge & loading (palletised goods)

However others may offer additional services:

• Transport services
• Fulfilment services (incl. Order picking, pick & pack, labelling etc.)
• External storage space
• Cross-docking (pallets)
• Palletising of loose loaded cargo
• Inventory management

There is no minimum or maximum length of time that each contract lasts for. The contract length is set by the customer (with his enquiry) and the warehouse (with his acceptance of the business). This is agreed between the parties involved. Once the buyer requests a period of time, and the warehouse agrees - then that should be the minimum length of time agreed. But this can be extended by mutual agreement. Similarly, if the buyer needs more space - and the warehouse agrees - this too can be managed.

The supplier uploads his terms of business to the platform and the client agrees to these when making an enquiry. If there are specific terms (like insurance) that either party requires, then this is agreed between the parties directly. There is no lease involved, each party sets out their space / timeframe requirements at the outset and sticks to it – unless otherwise agreed or re-negotiated during the initial agreement. Storhaus is for business users only and does not cater for consumer enquiries.
